Terms of Service

1. The service

HeadlessEngineer provides the Data Map product — an interactive data visualisation tool accessible at headlessengineer.xyz/data-map — and associated professional services. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement and have the authority to bind yourself to these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or the underlying systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
  • Use the service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you upload or generate through the service. By using the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time via your account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where practicable.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeadlessEngineer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
